Often simply referred to as a 'rain tire,' the K73 can do much more than it suggests. Certainly, the soft rubber compound and the block tread of the tire lead to this conclusion—without a doubt. However, combined with the very narrow tire structure, the K73 demonstrates cornering behavior that remains very controllable even at extreme lean angles. Originally developed for the supermoto sector, this tire provides good feedback in every situation, and the tendency to stand up when braking in corners is very manageable and easily controllable. This is particularly advantageous during quick transitions, for example, from a right turn to a left turn. Therefore, the dynamic driving behavior impresses not only on the supermoto track but also on the road.
Note: For winter use below +7 degrees Celsius, this tread is also available as a pure winter tire.
